<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image generation system, a program and an information storage medium capable of realizing a hit judgment processing with a small processing load. SOLUTION: Coordinates of apexes (constitutional points) of a wave object WOB are calculated based on a returned value of a function F to use the coordinates as arguments, and the wave object WOB is generated in real time. And hit judgment of the wave object WOB and a rock object ROB is performed based on the returned value of the function F when coordinates of a hit judging point HP are substituted as the arguments, and frequency of the hit judgment processing is relieved. The hit judging point HP is set in an area according to hit directions of the objects WOB, ROB among external areas adjacent to an external wall of the rock object ROB. The hit judgment is performed by comparing the returned value of the function F with a set value SV when the coordinates of the hit judging point HP are substituted as the arguments. A splash (hit effect) object is generated from an object generating point at a place distant from a hit event display point at earlier time than hit event display time at the hit event display point by period T.</p> |
