<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily input various characters, character strings or the like by using at least eleven keys, composed of 0 to 9 and #, and a few conversion and functional keys. SOLUTION: Eleven pieces of numbers 0 to 9 and #, are arranged on one of coordinate axes, and eleven pieces of numbers 0 to 9 and # are arranged on the other coordinate axis, and characters, numbers, symbols and the like are allocated on 121 regions which serve as the intersections of the coordinate axes. The number of one of the coordinate axes is tapped as a first stroke, then the number of the other coordinate axis is stroked as a second stroke, and then the characters, the character string and the like are inputted by a conversion key.
