PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric sensor that can sufficiently improve the S/N at a light receiving side. SOLUTION: An AD conversion section samples level data of a light receiving signal that is received by a light receiving optical system and outputted via a light receiving amplifier circuit corresponding to each light projection period of a light projection optical system (steps S1-S6), and an arithmetic section of a CPU filters a frequency component of the light receiving signal by conducting an arithmetic operation on the basis of the data sampled by the AD conversion section (step S7). Then an object to be detected is detected on the basis of the light receiving signal subjected to the filtering processing by the arithmetic section (step S8). |
