<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide information system which manages vehicle management information from production of an automobile to a car scrap, provides an automobile maker with the vehicle management information, authenticates a driver with start-up of an engine, and provides a police agency with vehicular position information by grasping an existing position of the automobile. SOLUTION: This system comprises travel logging means for logging vehicle travel information in a vehicle memory card; vehicle management information download means for downloading vehicle management information including the vehicle travel information in a terminal of the automobile maker; automobile antitheft means for authenticating a driver and permitting to start tip the engine of the automobile; and vehicle position information search means for providing the police agency with the vehicle position information by a global positioning system(GPS) or an automatic vehicle monitoring system(AVMS).</p> |
