<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dialup router having the function of automatically detecting illegal connections. SOLUTION: A dialup router is provided with a monitor portion 50 for detecting occurrence of automatic connection to monitor, a setting portion 60 for detecting the occurrence of illegal connection, based on interval data at which the automatic connection occurred, and a connection control portion 40 for controlling line connection and disconnection. The monitor portion 50 includes a means of detecting the occurrence of automatic connection to record the occurrence time of the automatic connection successively, and a means of calculating interval data at which the automatic connection occurred, based on the data of the occurrence time of the automatic connection to output to the setting portion 60. The setting portion 60 includes a means of checking whether automatic connection has been repeated periodically at uniform intervals, to determine the automatic connection of interest to be illegal, when the automatic connection is repeated periodically for more than the predetermined number of times. The connection control portion 40 includes a means of inhibiting the automatic connection, when the setting portion 60 detects the occurrence of illegal connection.</p> |
