PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide multiuser detection method/device in a DS-CDMA(Direct Sequence Code Division Multiple Access) mode which uses a simplified 'method of detection by spheres'. SOLUTION: The method comprises filtering steps 310I to 310K, adapted for supplying a complex vector characteristic of a received signal when a plurality of symbols dk(i) transmitted from/to a plurality K of users, are to be detected; a complex vector (formula 1) is decomposed into a first vector (formula 2) and a second vector (formula 3); and the closest neighbors of the first vector and the second vector are sought (330 and 331) within the lattice of points generated by a modulation constellation and the transmitted symbol is estimated from the components of the closest neighbors.
