<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide communications equipment, which prevents communication troubles due to wrong registration, when predetermined data is transmitted to an address registered as the destination. SOLUTION: Before a transmission destination address, inputted from an operation display unit 10, is registered in a microcomputer 1, verification packets are transmitted to the address. If the communication equipment receives response packets for the verification packets within a prescribed time, it is determined that the packets are valid.</p> |
