PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor light illuminance sensor which has infrared light components of a low sensitivity, even if light is incident from other device than a photodiode and which has stable operation in a circuit section. SOLUTION: An N-type region is formed around elements, which needs to be clear of the influence by scribe lines and an optical current. Carriers generated by irradiation of light and a diffusion current due to the optically excited carriers are absorbed by the N-type region.
