PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting mechanism and method for a motor, which can be simply structured and easily improve the degree of verticality of a center axis CL. SOLUTION: Several adjustment holes 11c which can be deformed are made surrounding the circumference of an opening 11a for mounting the bearing at the vicinity of the opening 11a in a base plate 11 for the motor. The degree of verticality of a rotating shaft 21 or the center axis CL for bearings 12, 13 can be adjusted by deforming the vicinity of the opening 11a for mounting the bearing in the base plate 11 for the motor by the adjusting holes 11c. Without largely improving the production precision and mounting precision of each component, very precise verticality can be obtained easily by deforming the vicinity of the opening 11a for the bearing mounting in the base plate 11 for the motor.
