PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a line filter which is devised to reduce the height and prevent the short circuit, thereby surely removing the noise when used in chargers, etc., of information terminals. SOLUTION: The filter comprises a bobbin 23 having a through-hole 21 in the axial direction and a plurality of flanges 21, windings 24 wound between the flanges 22 of the bobbin 23, terminals 25 planted on the bobbin 23 to which the windings 24 are connected, and a closed magnetic path core 26 inserted in the through-hole 21 of the bobbin 23. A part of the bobbin 23 is horizontally projected to provide protrusions 30 on lower parts of the bobbin 23, the closed magnetic path core 26 is horizontally mounted on the protrusions 30, and an insulation board 28 is disposed between the inner side of the core 26 and the outer side of the bobbin.
