PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical packet synchronizing circuit with which time resolution can be made smaller than heretofore and optical power loss and crosstalks are not so large, even though time the temporal resolution is made small. SOLUTION: This optical packet synchronizing circuit 108 has an optical waveguide 106 for inputting an optical signal, a variable wavelength conversion circuit 101 for converting the wavelength of the optical signal into a single wavelength among a plurality of wavelengths being N pieces, on basis of a control signal of a delay time control circuit 107, an optical branching device 102 for branching the converted optical signal into a plurality of optical paths being M pieces, a plurality of optical gate devices 103 being M pieces having a function for transmitting or interrupting the branched optical signal, in response to an instruction of the control circuit 107, an optical delay circuit part 104 having a plurality of optical paths connected to each output port of the optical gate device and having respectively different lengths, and an optical waveguide 105 for output for outputting the optical signal made to pass through the optical delay circuit part. Using this configuration, it is possible to make the temporal resolution small, because selection of optical paths of N×M kinds of lengths can be made. |
