<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an pn junction solar battery, that can minimize manufacturing cost and can be mass-produced, while maximizing energy conversion efficiency. SOLUTION: This pn junction solar battery contains a p-n junction structure, including p and n-type semiconductor layers, a front electrode 50 formed on the upper surface of the p-n junction structure, and a back electrode 80 formed on the back surface of the pn junction structure. The front electrode 50 is formed on the upper surface of the p-n junction structure through a contact pattern 31, having nearly the same width along the longitudinal direction. In this case, the farther the front electrode 50 is located from an electrode terminal 53 formed on the upper surface of the pn junction structure, the narrower the width of the front electrode 50 becomes.</p> |
