PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the overload on a coin feeding rotary disc even in increase in the coin storage quantity of a coin bowl and to suppress the generation of a coin bridge within the coin bowl and a biting phenomenon. SOLUTION: This coin hopper comprises a cylindrical coin bowl for storing coins, the coin feeding rotary disc located in the lower part of the coin bowl and rotating, an overlapped preventing bar vertically movable with respect to the rotary disc within the coin bowl, and a stopper for setting the lower limit position of the overload preventing bar.
