PURPOSE: To provide a card connector device capable of pressing the contact of a card to a terminal for keeping the connection of these by improving the rigidity of a cover. CONSTITUTION: The device is provided with a frame 2 having an open top and having an insertion port 4 for inserting the card 21 formed at one end part, a metallic cover 3 fitted to this frame 2, and the terminal 5 supported by the other end part of the frame 2 to be connected with the contact 24 provided on the bottom surface of the card 21. A part of the upper plate 7 of a cover 3 for covering the open top of the frame 2 is cut and bent toward the inside of the opening of the frame 2, and the first and second elastic pieces 12 and 13 for pressurizing the upper surface of the card 21 to the cover 3 to press the contact 24 in the direction of contacting with the terminal 5 are formed at the cover 3 by supporting respectively one end parts on the side of the port 4 of the pieces 12 and 13 by the upper plate 7 of the cover 3 and extending the respective other end parts so as to be separated from each other toward the supporting part of the terminal 5 of the frame 2.
