The machine for separating and positioning sealing rings comprises a feeder (1) with a stop (3) at one end. A slide (4) carries a gripper arm (5) which picks up rings held by the stop and lays them down on a separating table (6). Both slide and arm lie below the level of the feeder and table, but a lever (8) with a curved back (9) raises the arm through a slit in their surfaces and lifts the end of the ring which rests against the stop.
