The invention relates to a device for transferring data and/or energy to a restraining system (15) in a vehicle which is used to connect moveable vehicle parts by means of a transmitter element (2). According to the invention, a reed contact (5) is provided on the secondary side (4) of the transmitter, causing the winding or coil (1) of the secondary side to short-circuit when the removable part is removed, thereby preventing undesired triggering of the restraining means (15) as a result of an induction voltage.
