The subject matter of the invention is a fixing bolt for assembling timber log structures, the said fixing bolt comprising a spring housing 2 provided with a flange 1, spring element 3 and bolt 4 moveably fitted in the spring housing, and a shank 5, adjustably fixed to the bolt and designed to extend through the timber logs. The fixing bolts of the timber log walls extending all the way downwards are not sufficient to effectively prevent the timber logs from shifting, thereby adversely affecting the water-tightness of the structures. The fixing bolt according to the invention comprises a connecting part 6 fixed to the spring housing 2, in which connecting part a shank of another fixing bolt can be detachably fixed. In this way the fixing bolts fitted one on top of another form an integrated sprung construction extending through the timber log wall in its vertical direction. <IMAGE>
