The invention relates to a multi-use, or multi-position hanging clip allowing objects of various natures, shapes and sizes to be held and removed very quickly and very easily. It consists of a component comprising, on the one hand, a supporting mounting plate 3, allowing it to be fixed on to the support 1 and, on the other hand, an arm 2 which is partially or totally elastic secured to the supporting mounting plate 3, which arm extends firstly away from the mounting plate 3, then returns to adjoin or to touch the said mounting plate and moves away therefrom. When the user has inserted the object between the supporting mounting plate 3 and the arm 2, in the direction 4, the said arm, by virtue of its elasticity, tends to return to its initial position and exerts a pinching effect which holds the object. The invention is particularly intended for holding textile articles, such as cloths and towels, office articles, namely papers; toiletries, cooking articles, and various articles. <IMAGE>
