The fork lift truck has a lifting device for moving the load pick-up member (3) up and down along the lifting frame (1). The lifting device interacts with an incline device which enables the lifting frame to incline relative to the vehicle so that the maximum incline of the lifting frame can be influenced in dependence on the momentary lift height of the load pick-up member so that the frame can be inclined more sharply at a low lift height than at a large lift height. A maximum limit (8) can be set for the height of the lifting device.
