METHOD FOR PRODUCING A PIECE OF JEWELLERY

The inventive method for producing a piece of jewellery relates to the fixation of an insert in a setting and is characterised in that the insert is fixed in an original design contour of the piece of jewellery with the aid of two branches of the original design contour of the piece of jewellery in such away that the branches press the crown of the insert against the original design contour of the piece of jewellery in two points thereof. A surface of a pavilion, apart from a pin and/ or collar, contacts a line which joints the original design contour of the piece of jewellery in a third point. The points of contact of the original design contour of the piece of jewellery with the insert form the corners of an isosceles triangle whose plane passes the centre of gravity of the insert, whereby the reliability of the fixation of the insert in the contour of the piece of jewellery having an original design is provided.
