The electronic arrangement (1) is connected via at least one cable (3) to at least one light source (2) and both produces light (9) and detects brightness via one and the same light source, preferably LEDs, on the same signal path (6,7; 8,6). Identical components can be used as an alternative to using one and the same light source.
