A data signal output to a drive circuit (16) to turn on each light emitting section by a latch circuit (12) where five stages of latch circuits each storing a line of data signals is selected by a selector circuit (15) according to a correction data of nine bits for each light emitting section stored in a Y-position correction data memory circuit (13). Thus, the turn-on timing of each light emitting section is adjusted to execute printing of high linearity.
