PURPOSE: Provided is a rocking apparatus which is mounted at the lower part of a bed to function as a alarm so that it rocks the bed at a desired time or plays a soft music to wake up a user or provide a comfortable sleeping condition. CONSTITUTION: The rocking apparatus includes a motor driving part to rock a bed and a system controller part to control the motor(390). The motor driving part is mounted on a motor at one end of a rotating axis of the motor. The apparatus also includes a locker(372) to transmit rotating force of the motor to a pinion(371). The pinion is rotated by the force from the locker. A connecting rod(360) and a piston(350) are provided to change the rotating movement into linear movement. The upward and downward movement of the piston is supported by a cylinder(340) to support. An axis for upward and downward movement is connected to a head of the piston to transmit the movement of the piston to a bed and is supported by a metal bearing. In addition, the apparatus includes a ball-joint and a bed frame fixing part.
