<p>An optical recording medium having shallow and wide grooves of U-shape section with a specified width or wider formed therein and recordable in high density, a master disc for manufacturing the optical recording medium, and a device and a method for manufacturing the master disc for manufacturing the optical recording medium for manufacturing the optical recording medium, wherein a 2-1 exposure beam (61) and a 2-2 exposure beam (62) are re-composed with each other, together with a first exposure beam (60), so that the advancing directions thereof are identical to each other at a second PBS (47), and the 2-1 exposure beam (61) and the 2-2 exposure beam (62) are disposed so that the optical axes thereof are arranged parallel with each other apart a specified distance, whereby, the width of a spot formed by composing these beams can be increased, and the amount of exposure by these beams can be set to a proper level to form the shallow grooves.</p> |
