The circuit has a pull-in and hold circuit and a number of tilt switches (S2-9) that are arranged to open if a threshold inclination angle is exceeded in either direction. One or more switches are arranged on each half-axis. Preferably eight mercury tilt switches are used and the inclination angle can be plus or minus 45 degrees.
