METHOD FOR MEASURING POSITION OF MOBILE STATION POSITION OF GPS SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for measuring a position of a mobile station of a GPS(Global Positioning System) system is provided, which measures the position of a mobile station accurately using a time information not synchronized to a GPS clock and by removing a pseudorange error of the mobile station and correcting an earth rate correction term. CONSTITUTION: According to the method for measuring a position of a mobile station of a GPS system, a corrected pseudorange to a satellite is calculated(413) according as receiving a mobile station pseudorange(411). An approximate position of the mobile station is calculated with the above corrected pseudorange(415). Then, a satellite transmission time according to the approximate position of the mobile station is calculated(417). And a satellite pseudorange is calculated by calculating a satellite position with the above satellite transmission time(419,421). And a corrected position of the mobile station is calculated using the calculated satellite pseudorange(423).
