The seat, esp, for vehicles, has a back rest (14) and a relatively adjustable headsupport (16), fastened to it via a connection element (22). This extends into the back rest with a fastening element (28). The shoulder section (20) of the back rest, next to the head support, contains a curved element (52), which is horizontally adjustable in longitudinal direction of the seal, by an adjusting unit.
