<p>Sleeve rail fitting (10) for fixing a sleeve rail (15), connecting rod fitting, etc. in a groove of a window/door frame (13) made of wood, plastic or light metal comprises at least one sleeve rail and an essentially U-shaped guide element (14) held in the groove and in which at least one connecting rod (11) is displaced longitudinally. The U-shaped guide element has at least one integral clamping function device (18) which on externally applied force is transferred into a functional position (30) gently spreading the arms (16, 17) of the U-shaped guide element for the purpose of forming a holding force securely holding the sleeve rail fitting in the groove. Preferred Features: The clamping function device is a retaining bar (19) molded on the distal end (42) of one arm of the U-shaped guide element and lying at an angle in the intermediate space of the U-shaped guide element.
