摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an NiTiAu alloy or an NiTiAu based alloy which has excellent X-ray contrast properties, and parts for medical use such as a catheter, a guide wire and an artificial fang consisting of the above alloy, and provided with X-ray contrast properties. SOLUTION: The NiTiAu alloy having excellent X-ray contrast properties has a composition containing, by mol, 4.0 to 20% Au and 49.0 to 50.0% Ti, and the balance Ni with inevitable impurities. In the NiTiAu based alloy having excellent X-ray contrast properties, a part of one or more selected from Ti, Ni and Au constituting the NiTiAu alloy for medical use described in the claim item 1 is substituted by one or more selected from Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, Hf, Mn, Mo, Nb, Pd, Pt and Zr of 0.06 to 2.0% in total. The parts for medical use provided with X-ray contrast properties use the alloy.
