PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discharge flushing water up to a water level at the end of a drain inlet for a flushing water tank while eliminating the generation of the closing sound of a drain valve. SOLUTION: The flushing-water tank device has the tank in which a drain inlet is formed to a bottom section and flushing water is stored, a valve body opening and closing the drain inlet, a connecting member connected to the valve body, an operating means, in which the valve body is opened by pulling up the connecting member and which operates large flow-rate flushing and small flow-rate flushing, a cylinder section, in which a piston section linked with the valve body vertically movably for controlling the valve-opening operation of the valve body is interposed and which has a water-passing hole in and from which flushing water stored in the tank is made to flow in and discharged by the vertical movement of the piston section, and a lower-speed changeover means changing over the lower speed of the piston section in the case of large flow-rate flushing and the case of small flow-rate flushing.
