摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a uniform illumination optical device simultaneously satisfying short optical path length, small beam dimension and parallel beams. SOLUTION: This uniform illumination optical device satisfies a requirement on the short optical path length, the small beam dimension and the desired parallel beams. The device is provided with a beam splitting device for changing a light beam from a light source to a plurality of parallel beams, and a beam condenser condensing the plurality of parallel beams and forming more uniform condensed light beam. The beam condenser is provided with a 1st condensing lens consisting of a convex lens and a 2nd condensing lens consisting of a concave lens. When the parallel beams transmitted from the beam splitting device pass through the 1st condensing lens of the beam condenser, the parallel beams are focused on a center axis. When the parallel beams pass through the 2nd condensing lens, they are focused onto an axis parallel with the center axis. The parallel beams transmitted from the beam splitting device are joined to form the more uniform condensed light beam.
