PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-priming turbo pump requiring no priming. SOLUTION: A fan 16 and a pump 18 that are driven by a common motor 12 are disposed on the same output shaft 14. The fan 16 has a core 22 fixed to the output shaft, 14 and a permanent magnet 26 circumferentially arranged on the outer peripheral surface of the core. A permanent magnet 28 is arranged on the inner periphery of a fan impeller 24 so as to face to the permanent magnet 26, and magnetic connection is formed between these magnets 26 and 28. When the motor 12 starts, the fan 18 feeds gas. When the liquid level reaches an inducer 20 or the pump 18, the pump 18 feeds the liquid. When the fan impeller 24 is soaked in the liquid and a load increases, the magnetic connection is released, the fan 16 idles, and the pump 18 feeds the liquid.
