PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transport a variety of contents in the same transport container without damaging the contents. SOLUTION: The container comprises a container main body 1 that includes a box-shaped lower container 2, which is open at the top, and a box-shaped upper container 3, which is open at the bottom, and that divides an accommodating space for the contents 8 by fitting the lower container 2 and the upper container. The container also comprises firmly fastening means (binding belts 2e) that firmly fasten the upper container 3, fitted within the lower container 2, to the lower container 2. The container additionally comprises a lower packing 5 and an upper packing 6, made of a foamed resin, which are vertically disposed with the contents 8 between them and which restrict movement of the contents 8 in order to absorb an impact force exerted inward from outside. The container further comprises slits S1 (S2) that divide at least either one of opposite faces of the packings 5 and 6.
