PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a detergent composition capable of modifying foam quality and simultaneously having high thickening actions without deteriorating an excellent feeling of use possessed by an N-acrylamino acid type surfactant and stable with time. SOLUTION: This liquid detergent composition is characterized in that (component A) a fatty acid amidoamine oxide type surfactant, (component B) a polyoxypropylene fatty acid monoisopropanolamide type surfactant and (component C) an N-acylamino acid type surfactant are contained as essential components and the weight ratio of the component C to the total weight of the components A and C is 50-80 wt.% and the weight ratio of the component B to the total amount of the three components of the components A, B and C is 5-50 wt.%.
