PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device having a fixing device optimum to form a color image capable of preventing the non-uniformity of the temperature distribution of a fixing roller member caused by its positional deviation from the center position of a light emitting means, also preventing the deterioration of an elastic layer consisting of the rubber material layer of the fixing roller member, having an energy saving effect and realizing quick start. SOLUTION: This image forming device is provided with a plurality of light emitting means for heating the fixing roller member inside light transmitting base substance, and the plurality of light emitting means respectively have different emitted light distribution. When the temperature of the fixing roller member due to the plurality of light emitting means is equal to or above the specified temperature set to be lower than fixing appropriate temperature, the fixing roller member is turned.
