REMOVING METHOD FOR ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE PROTECTION LINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a removing method for an electrostatic discharge protection line on a liquid crystal display substrate. SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display panel which has the electrostatic discharge protection line at its peripheral edge is provided and after the electrostatic discharge protection line and liquid crystal display panel are cut and parted, the liquid crystal display panel having been cut is beveled to remove part of the liquid crystal display panel, thereby forming a smooth beveled part at its edge. Or a liquid crystal display panel which has an electrostatic discharge protection short bar and a test line at its peripheral edge is provided and the electrostatic discharge protection short bar and test line are cut and removed to separate the electrostatic discharge protection short bar and test line from the liquid crystal display panel, and then the liquid crystal display panel having been cut is bevelled to remove a part of the liquid crystal display panel, thereby forming a smooth bevelled part at its edge.
