PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting mechanism for a hoisting accessory enabling an operator to easily install and remove a connecting pin even if a suspending cargo becomes large in hoisting accessory of a crane. SOLUTION: In this connecting mechanism for the hoisting accessory for connecting an upper side member 1 of the hoisting accessory of the crane, and also a lower side member 2 under the upper side member, the connecting mechanism has respectively coaxially communicating holes in the horizontal direction by superposing the upper side member for sandwiching the lower side member. The hole of the upper side member is an elongated hole 5 which is long in the vertical direction, and has the connecting pin 3 communicating with the respective holes, and whose one has one end having a diameter larger than a shaft part for preventing slip-out from the holes. A drop preventive plate 4 for preventing dropping of the connecting pin is arranged at a position for covering a connecting pin head part, when lifting an upper member to a connecting pin head part side lower part in the upper side member.
