PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite yarn which can provide a fabric having excellent stretchability, elongation recovery, color development, and smooth touch. SOLUTION: This composite yarn contains at least polyester fibers and having the requirements (1), (2) of the following characteristic value A. [Characteristic A] (1): The composite yarn has peaks at many stages, an initial peak elongation of 15 to 45% and a final peak strength of 80 to 230% in a load-elongation curve.
