PURPOSE:To prevent generation of an abnormal large deceleration in an emergent stopping by detecting the load in a cage, and controlling the control force corresponding to the detected load amount. CONSTITUTION:A differential transformer 12 which detects the load in a cage 2 converts the amount corresponding to the clearance with the floor of the cage 2 displaced by pressing an armature by bending the cage 2 floor, into an electric signal. A cage load detecting circuit 13 converts the weight of passengers in the cage 2 into the bending amount of the cage 2 floor, and the load in the cage 2 is detected depending on the output voltage of the differential transformer 12 which has converted the bending into the electric signal. And depending on this detecting output, the braking force of brake devices 10A to 10D is controlled. As a result, an abnormal large deceleration in the cage 2 in an emergent stopping can be prevented. |
