PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase opportunities and a period allowing shortening of a first copy time in an image forming device provided with a plurality of paper sheet housing parts housing paper sheets of the same size. SOLUTION: When a paper feeding control part needs preparation for an image formation at a starting point of the image formation, a precedent paper sheet is fed from a paper feeder used as a paper feeder for precedent feeding with the longest feeding duration to an image forming part 23 of paper feeders 26x, 26y and 26z from which a fed paper sheet can reach the image forming part 23 at completion of the preparation, and a subsequent paper sheet is fed from a paper feeder used as a paper feeder for subsequent feeding the same as the paper feeder for precedent feeding or a paper feeder with a longer feeding duration than the paper feeder for precedent feeding.
