PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a translucent colored frost-looking glass less liable to disappearance of its surface ruggedness and prolonging the wear of its matte surface state by coating the surface of transparent glass with a coating material comprising a specially blended adhesive, two coarse and fine aggregates each having a proper size, a pigment and a solvent by silk screen printing. SOLUTION: A coating material is prepared by using 50-60 wt.% adhesive obtained by mixing 70% medium based on a mixture of epoxy resin and a small amount of butyl cellosolve as a softener with 30% curing agent based on a modified aliphatic polyamine and mixing the adhesive with 10-20 wt.% aggregate obtained by mixing 7.5-15% silicon oxide-based coarse powdery matting agent having 10-20μm particle size with 12.5-25% fine powdery matting agent having 1-5μm particle size, 1-10 wt.% pigment and 15-25 wt.% solvent consisting essentially of butyl cellosolve and cyclohexanone. The surface of transparent glass is coated with the coating material by silk screen printing.
