PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize the area of a liquid ejection opening plane in a liquid ejector. SOLUTION: In the head member 4 of a liquid ejector, a liquid ejection opening 10 and a liquid supply opening 11 communicating with each pressure chamber are arranged on a line. More specifically, a pressurizing body 2 provided on one side of a pressurization chamber forming plate 1 comprising a single crystal plate of silicon is provided, on the other side thereof, with a head member formed of a glass substrate 3. A liquid supply tank member 5 is connected to a plane in the rear of the head member 4. It is also connected with a first lead-out electrode 15 formed on the head member 4 through a second lead-out electrode 16 formed on a flexible substrate 17. The liquid supply tank member 5 is provided, in the rear thereof, with a fluid inlet 6, and a liquid supply passage 7 communicating with the fluid inlet 6 opens on the other side.
