<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a step device for vehicles, which can span the gap between a vehicle and a platform for any platform wherein the gap between a vehicle and the platform is different and can be stored compactly so as not to obstruct passengers. SOLUTION: This device comprises a travel frame 6 which moves along the wall face 3 inside a cabin, a step 9 which is attached to the travel frame 6 so as to be able to rise and fall around the lower section of the frame 6, a step falling down preventive means 11 which locks and unlocks the erection state of the step 9, a rotary pin 20, which is provided in the lower section of the step 9 on the opposite side of the travel frame 6, and a rotary bearing 22, which is connected to the rotary pin 20 when the step 9 moves to a side door way section.</p> |
