<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the displacement of an operation pedal in an intended condition irrespective of the deformation of a dash panel. SOLUTION: A guide member guiding the travel of a bracket 8 in a rear end part of a pedal bracket 7 after the bracket 8 separates from a separation mechanism 14 to suppress the rearward displacement of a brake pedal 4 when a vehicle collides is provided, and the guide member is constituted by a guide 13 guiding a rear end part of the bracket 8 obliquely and downward and a column support bracket 10 constituting a lower part of the guide 13 into a closed cross section to regulate the drop of the bracket 8 after moving downward. The bracket 8 is guided by the guide 13 and is regulated by the column support bracket 10 irrespective of the deformation of the dash panel 1 to suppress the displacement of the brake pedal 4 which is the operation pedal in the intended condition.</p> |
