<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide carrier for electrophotography with which a high-quality and high-definition full color copied image is outputted stably over a long time, and to provide a producing method for the carrier. SOLUTION: In the carrier for electrophotography used in two-component contact development, (1) parameter for making high image quality KP is 0.08<KP<1.0 emu/cm3, (2) specific resistance in 104 V/cm under an environment of 23 deg.C and 50% RH is >=1011Ωcm and (3) tanδbeing the ratio of conductance G to susceptance B in the measurement of conductivity, when only the carrier is carried on a developer carrier and alternating electric field having 2 kHz frequency and 3×104 Vpp/cm amplitude is applied between the developer carrier and an aluminum drum opposed to the developer carrier is set such that 0.01<=tanδ(=G/B)<=1.00.</p> |
