PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition usable for a clad of optical fibers for optical transmission, rapidly curable by irradiating an activated energy ray such as an ultraviolet ray to give the cured substance with high hardness, Young's modulus, fracture strength and flexibility, a low refractive index and excellent transparency. SOLUTION: A resin composition is prepared by synthesizing a diisocyanate compound containing fluorine and a fluorine-containing urethane (meth)acrylate using a fluorine-containing (meth)acrylate having one hydroxyl group in the structure as a material, followed by compounding these. |
