PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner in which a butting gap between the base end part of a diffuser and a rear guider forming an outlet is sealed. SOLUTION: The air conditioner has a constitution, wherein an inlet 2 is provided at least in the upper-side part of a body 1 and an outlet 3 is provided in the front part of the bottom, while a heat exchanger 4 and a blowing fan 5 are provided in an air passage connecting these inlet 2 and outlet 3, and the diffuser 7 is provided rotatably at the fore end part of the rear guider 6 forming the outlet 3. Herein a sealing part 8, extending rearward along the rear of the rear guider 6 from the butting gap between the base end part of the diffuser 7 and the rear guider 6, is provided at the base end part.
