PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the conventional constitution using only the primary battery for wireless communication between a gas meter and a safety apparatus results in a heavy weight and a large size of the battery, while such a constitution utilizing a generator is available on condition that it would be used together with the battery, but the replacement maintenance timing of the battery is undefined because of the generating rate variable according to the service condition such as gas service time and sunshine condition. SOLUTION: The gas meter uses a power source composed of a generator 11 working with a fuel gas taken out of a branch pipe 13 branched from a gas piping 6. This has no need of such maintenance for replacing a used battery, etc.
