PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymeric coating agent comprising an ultraviolet- absorbing unit and a stainproof unit, and a structural body using the same, which is excellent in light resistance, stainproof properties, durability and transparency. SOLUTION: The coating agent is prepared by adding a polyisocyanate-based hydrophilic crosslinking agent (E) to a copolymer of a monomer composition comprising at least one ultraviolet-absorbing monomer (A) selected from a benzophenone-based ultraviolet-absorbing monomer and a benzotriazole-based ultraviolet-absorbing monomer, a hydrophilic monomer (B), a functional monomer (C) and a copolymerizable vinyl monomer (D). The coating agent is applied on a structural body and properly heat-treated to obtain the structural body on which a film prepared from the coating agent of the invention is formed.
