PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printed matter, in the printing layer of which an elaborate pattern is provided, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: This printed matter has a base material, a first printing layer, which is provided in at least some part of the base material and a second printing layer, which is provided in at least some part with an ink having a surface free energy higher far by 6 mN/m than the surface free energy of the first printing layer, preferably higher by 12 mN/m or more than that.
